🐶 Friends of Rescue Animals (FRA) – Saving Lives Across North Texas!
Friends of Rescue Animals (FRA) is a passionate, all-volunteer nonprofit founded in 2004 to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter. Today, FRA helps municipal shelters in Rowlett, Garland, Richardson, and Sachse, working hard to give every homeless pet a second chance.
With over 300 volunteers, FRA leads efforts in:
  • 🐾 Cat rescue and foster (2,300+ adoptions since 2016)
  • 🐱 Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for community cats
  • 🐕 Emergency vet care, heartworm treatment & dog transport
  • 💯 Supporting no-kill shelter goals with 90%+ live-release rates
  • 🏡 Connecting animals with loving forever homes
