Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs)

The Rowlett Rotary Club was pleased to welcomeSherial Millsap from Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the homeless pet population in Rowlett and surrounding communities.

During the presentation, the speaker shared how FRAs works in close partnership with the Rowlett Animal Shelter to provide vital services such as fostering, adoption support, medical care, volunteer coordination, and community education. The talk highlighted recent accomplishments, ongoing challenges, and meaningful ways for individuals and organizations to get involved.

Rotary members learned how they could support FRAs' mission through volunteering, fostering pets, making donations, or spreading awareness. The presentation served as a powerful reminder of the impact compassion and community engagement can have on the lives of animals—and the people who care for them!
